The Faster Freight – Cleaner Air (FFCA) Conference Series return to the Seattle Waterfront on September 17th and 18th, 2008 at the Bell Harbor International Convention Center in Seattle, WA was a great success!

FFCA Pacific Northwest featured a two-day event that included a one-day conference on Wednesday, September 17, with an excellent line up of speakers from throughout the region, exciting breakout session discussions, and an opportunity to visit a variety of booths.  On Thursday, September 18, FFCA Pacific Northwest held off-site tours for participants to get up close to goods movement activities right in Seattle.

Patrick Burgoyne, Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer for Yusen Terminals Inc. gave a captivating presentation on how NYK Lines is addressing growth with efficient solutions and their "Green Policy" for day-to-day company operations as well as highlighted the company's plans for the new marine container terminal in the Pacific Northwest, now scheduled to open in 2012.
